Overview
This document defines the conditions under which Catedo.com, an online store specializing in feline wellness, offers its products and services to its customers. Catedo.com is operated by TRUSTERR LLC, a US company registered in Texas, with its registered office at 539 W. Commerce #587, Dallas, TX 75208, USA. Contact: support@catedo.com / +1 (505) 523-2910.
Browsing and purchasing on the site imply full acceptance of these conditions.
Article 1 - Capacity and access
Use of our services is reserved for natural persons of legal age who have the legal capacity to contract. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this condition. Creating an account is personal: you are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for any activity carried out from your customer area. Any transfer or assignment of account is prohibited without prior written consent.
Article 2 - Products and availability
The products offered are described with the reasonable care expected of a professional seller. However, visual renderings may vary depending on your screen, its calibration settings, and the nature of the materials photographed. These variations do not constitute a lack of conformity. We reserve the right to modify the characteristics, availability, or description of our products without notice, provided that these modifications do not affect an already confirmed order.
Article 3 - Order and contract formation
Any order placed on Catedo.com constitutes an offer to purchase from you. The sales contract is formed only upon receipt of the order confirmation email issued by Catedo.com. We reserve the right to refuse any order, particularly in case of reasonable doubt about the purpose of the purchase, obvious error in the displayed price, or unavailability of the product. Products are intended for personal, domestic, and non-commercial use.
Article 4 - Prices and payment
Prices displayed are in euros, including all applicable taxes for deliveries to metropolitan France and Belgium. Shipping costs are displayed separately and summarized before final validation of the order. The price invoiced is the one in effect at the time of placing the order, as mentioned in the confirmation email. Any promotion or discount is subject to specific conditions displayed at the time of its application. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the payment information provided.
Article 5 - Shipping and delivery
Orders are shipped from warehouses located in Europe, generally within one business day after payment confirmation. Estimated delivery times are 2 to 6 business days to metropolitan France and Belgium. These times are given for information only: they do not constitute a contractual guarantee and may be affected by circumstances beyond our control (logistical issues, customs formalities, holidays). The transfer of risk of loss or damage to products occurs when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the package, in accordance with Article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code.
Article 6 - Right of withdrawal
In accordance with applicable provisions for distance selling, you have a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your decision or incur penalties. To exercise it, contact our customer service at support@catedo.com. Return costs are your responsibility, unless otherwise stated in our return policy. Reimbursement occurs within 14 days of receipt of the return or proof of shipment, whichever comes first. The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been unsealed or used, nor to personalized products.
Article 7 - Intellectual property
All elements constituting the Catedo.com site, whether texts, visuals, photographs, videos, logos, trademarks, or general architecture, are the exclusive property of Catedo.com or are subject to a license granted to us. Any reproduction, extraction, adaptation, or distribution, in whole or in part, by any means whatsoever, is subject to prior written authorization. Use of the site for personal and non-commercial purposes is permitted within the limits defined by law.
Article 8 - Personal data and GDPR
Catedo.com collects and processes personal data strictly for the purpose of order fulfillment, customer relations, and, with your explicit consent, for commercial purposes. These processing activities are based on the following legal bases: contractual performance, legal obligation, and, where applicable, legitimate interest or consent. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, delete, port, and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@catedo.com. For any complaint, you may also contact the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) at www.cnil.fr. Our full privacy policy is available at catedo.com/pages/politique-de-confidentialite.
Article 9 - Links and third-party services
The site may contain links to third-party sites for informational purposes. Catedo.com has no control over these sites and disclaims any responsibility for their content, accessibility, or the practices of their operators. Their consultation is at your own risk.
Article 10 - Reviews and contributions
Any review, suggestion, or content you submit through our channels grants us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use it for service improvement or commercial communication purposes. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the submitted content and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties. We are not obligated to use, retain, or compensate for these contributions.
Article 11 - Liability
Catedo.com undertakes to do its best to ensure the continuity and quality of the service. However, our liability cannot be engaged in case of temporary interruption due to maintenance operations, unforeseeable events, or user behavior contrary to these conditions. To the extent permitted by applicable regulations, our liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned.
Article 12 - Legal warranties
Independently of these conditions and in accordance with applicable law, you benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects provided by French law. These warranties apply without prejudice to any other rights you may have.
Article 13 - Prohibited uses
Use of the site is strictly reserved for lawful and personal purposes. In particular, the following are prohibited: attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems, automated browsing for non-consented purposes, dissemination of illegal or misleading content, identity theft, and any behavior likely to disrupt access to the service for other users.
Article 14 - Changes to conditions
Catedo.com reserves the right to update these conditions at any time. The version in force is the one published on the site on the date of your order. Your continued use of the service after publication of any modification constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.
Article 15 - Applicable law and dispute resolution
These conditions are subject to French law, in accordance with the protective regulations applicable to consumers residing in France and Belgium. In case of dispute, we invite you to contact our customer service first. If no amicable agreement is found, you may have recourse, free of charge, to an approved consumer mediator. For customers residing in the European Union, the European online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Article 16 - Severability and entirety
If any provision of these conditions is declared null or inapplicable, the other provisions remain fully in force. These conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding their subject matter and replace any prior agreement.
