Does it work without a Wi-Fi connection?
Yes. Scheduled meals keep being served even if the connection drops: the schedule is held in the unit's internal memory. You only lose remote control from the app while the connection is down.
How many meals can I schedule per day?
Up to 6 meals, each with its own time and portion. Each portion is set between 50 and 100 g, which lets you stick to a precise ration, including the one recommended by your vet.
Can I trigger a meal remotely?
Yes. A button in the app serves a portion immediately, on top of the scheduled meals. Handy if you get home late, or if your cat needs an extra meal on a given day.
How long does a 5 L hopper last?
Between 5 and 7 days for 1 to 2 adult cats, depending on the portions scheduled. Above two cats, it is better to check the level every 3 days.
What kibble can I put in it?
Dry kibble up to 15 mm across. The anti-jam mechanism keeps dispensing smooth, even with irregular shapes. Wet food and pouches are not suitable.
Can my cat open the hopper and help themselves?
No. The hopper is airtight and secure: your cat cannot get into it. Only the scheduled portions are dispensed, which prevents overfeeding and protects their digestion.
Is it easy to clean?
The bowl and the hopper come out for cleaning. A damp cloth on the hopper and a rinse of the bowl in hot water, once a week, are enough to keep everything hygienic.
Is it suitable for two cats?
Yes. The 5 L hopper covers 1 to 2 adult cats for 5 to 7 days. Above two cats, check the level every 3 days and spread the portions over more meals.
How long does setup take?
Under 5 minutes and no tools. You plug the unit in, download the ZYFeeder app, connect it to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, then set the times and the portions.
Is the app free?
Yes, completely free on iOS and Android, with no subscription. Setup takes under five minutes: you schedule the meals, adjust the portions and get a notification at every serving.
What is the delivery time?
Your order is dispatched within 24 working hours, then delivered in 2 to 6 working days, with a tracking number. Free shipping over €50. For any order under €50, shipping costs €4.99.
Can I return it if it is not right?
Yes, you have 14 days after delivery to return the item, unused and in its original packaging. Contact support@catedo.com before sending anything back: our French customer service is available 7 days a week.
